We set out crafting a collection soft enough to lounge in, stylish enough to wear out, yet protective enough to face the blazing midday heat. 

UPF50+ — The Gold Standard

UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures how well a textile blocks UV radiation — think of it as the fabric equivalent of SPF. A UPF50+ rating means that 98% of harmful rays are blocked. This is the maximum rating textiles can achieve, recognized globally as the highest level of fabric protection.

Busting Sun Care Myths

MYTH 1: Any T-shirt is enough.

A plain white cotton tee is only about UPF 5 — letting 80% of UV rays through. True protection comes from lab-tested UPF50+ fabrics, which block at least 98% of rays.

MYTH 2: Shade keeps you safe.

Even in the shade, up to 50% of UV radiation can reach you, reflecting off surfaces like sand, concrete, or glass. UPF clothing ensures you’re protected no matter where you stand.

MYTH 3: Wet clothes still protect.

When cotton gets wet, its UPF can drop by half — sometimes as low as UPF 3. Certified UPF fabrics are tested in both wet and dry conditions to guarantee reliable coverage.

MYTH 4: Only thick, dark clothes block UV.

Yes, thickness and color play a role — but UPF-rated fabrics achieve the highest protection without needing to be heavy or dark, letting you wear lightweight, breathable pieces that still protect.
